SSC CGL 2024: Aspirants Allege Errors In Results, Demand Release Of Final Answer Key
SSC CGL 2024 : SSC CGL 2024 is trending on social media platform X as candidates flag errors in the final results. Aspirants have urged the Staff Selection Commission to release the final answer key, citing concerns over irregularities in the normalisation process and a lack of transparency. The commission recently announced the SSC CGL final results, with 18,174 candidates qualifying for the Tier 2 exam held in January.
The recruitment process involved a tier 1 written exam, tier 2 exam, document verification, and a skill test. Several aspirants alleged that candidates with lower raw marks secured higher scores after normalisation and have demanded clarification from the commission.
Speaking to News18.com, an aspirant, Abhishek, said, “Many deserving candidates were excluded without any clear reason. Marks were manipulated in the name of normalisation. Like every time, SSC has not provided any clarification this time either. Why is this recruitment process so opaque? Students work hard day and night, dedicating years to preparation, only to face this injustice in return.”
Another aspirant, Pooja, said, “A candidate gets selected with 299 marks, while in the same shift, many others with 320 or 330 marks are not selected. How long will this injustice with aspirants continue? SSC should release the SSC CGL 2024 Final Answer Key and marks.”
A mathematics teacher posted on X, “All students have a common demand—release the SSC CGL 2024 final answer key and marks! We need transparency, not uncertainty. SSC must respond immediately!”
An X user, Umed Pratap Singh explaining the issue, wrote: “The SSC CGL 2024 final results were released on March 13 and are mired in controversy. Many students have seen a significant increase in marks due to normalisation. One candidate received 96.7 extra marks compared to their raw score, while many others saw no increase at all. How can such a huge difference exist without any hidden motive? Only God knows what has happened. But one thing is clear—normalisation is a big scam. All important exams should be conducted in a single shift.”
