SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: Registration Starts For 169 Assistant Manager Posts

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024 : The State Bank of India (SBI) is currently accepting applications for the Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) posts. All interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, sbi.co.in. As per the official schedule, the registration for the vacancies began on November 22 and the deadline to submit the registration form is December 12.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 169 Assistant Manager posts in the organisation including 42 posts for Assistant Manager (Engineer-Civil), 25 posts for Assistant Manager (Engineer-Electrical), 101 posts for Assistant Manager (Engineer-Fire) and 1 post for Assistant Manager (Engineer-Civil).

How to Apply for SBI SCO Recruitment Assistant Manager Posts?

Step 1: Head to the official website, bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘RECRUITMENT OF SPECIALIST CADRE OFFICERS ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS’.

Step 3: Log in to your account.

Step 4: Proceed with the application process and fill the form accurately.

Step 5: Review all the details and deposit the application fee.

Step 6: Submit and take a printout of the form for future reference.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

To apply, candidates belonging to the General, EWS and OBC categories need to pay a registration fee of Rs 750, while those belonging to the SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempted from paying any fee.

The selection process includes a written examination followed by an interview round for most of the vacancies. The test will be administered in January 2025. However, for the Engineer-Fire post, shortlisting and interaction will determine the final selection.

The written examination will comprise two sections, General Aptitude and Professional Knowledge. The General Aptitude test will be held for a duration of 90 minutes and Professional Knowledge will be of 45 minutes. There will be no negative markings in case of wrong answers. The final merit list will be determined by combining the scores from the Professional Knowledge test (out of 100) and the interview (out of 25) with a weightage of 70:30.
