SBI Paid Internship 2025: Application Begins For Youth For India Fellowship

SBI : State Bank of India is offering an internship opportunity through its Youth for India Fellowship Programme for 2025-26. This paid internship, lasting 13 months, aims to provide practical experience in fields like education and health.

To be eligible, candidates must have a graduation degree by October 1, 2025, and be between 21 to 32 years old. The internship offers a monthly stipend of Rs 16,000, along with project expenses, travel allowance, readjustment allowance, insurance, housing assistance, and a certificate upon completion.

The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is offered to candidates who are citizens of India, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Citizens of Nepal/Bhutan. The internship requires candidates to live and work with rural communities and contribute towards solving pressing rural development challenges.

“The Fellowship builds young leaders who undergo a transformative journey by learning from the challenges of rural India. These leaders collaborate with NGO partners, local government, and the community to develop and sustain grassroots-level initiatives,” reads the official notice.

SBI Paid Internship 2025: How To Apply?

Step 1 – Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website, youthforindia.org, and clicking on the ‘Apply’ option.

Step 2 – The application form should be carefully filled out and submitted.

Step 3 – Pay the fees and upload the required documents.

Step 4 – Download and keep a copy of the confirmation page for further use.

SBI Youth for India Fellowship Programme 2025-26: Selection Process

After filling out the registration form, candidates need to complete an online assessment wherein they will be asked to share their story, perspectives, intention to join the Fellowship, and overall worldview.

The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview to assess their suitability for the programme. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the online assessment, personal interview, and overall suitability for the programme. The selected candidates receive an offer letter, and they need to confirm their acceptance of the offer within a stipulated time. After accepting the offer, they are required to attend an orientation programme and join the Fellowship on the date to be mentioned by SBI.
