SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: Over 13,000 Vacancies, Salary Up to Rs 47,000

SBI Clerk Recruitment : The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced over 13,000 vacancies for the posts of Junior Associates in the Clerk Cadre. The application process has begun, and eligible candidates can apply until January 7, 2025 by visiting SBI’s official website. This recruitment drive provides an excellent opportunity for aspirants seeking a career in the banking sector.

Vacancies

SBI has released a total of 13,735 vacancies for these positions. Out of these, 5,870 posts are available for unreserved category candidates, 3,001 posts for OBC candidates, 2,118 posts for SC candidates, 1,385 posts for ST candidates, and 1,361 posts for EWS category candidates.

Candidates can only apply for one state of their choice but must be proficient in the local language of that state, including reading, writing, and speaking it.

Eligibility

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must have graduated from a recognised institution. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree by December 31, 2024.

Applicants should be between 20 to 28 years of age, with their date of birth falling between April 2, 1996 and April 1, 2004.

Relaxation in the age limit is available for ST/SC candidates, as per government regulations.

Selection Process

The selection process for these posts involves a preliminary online examination, which candidates must pass to qualify for the main examination. Those who successfully clear the main exam will have to take a local language proficiency test. After completing all these stages, the final results will be announced.
