RSMSSB Jail Prahari Recruitment 2025 Begins For 803 Vacancies, 10th Pass Can Apply

Jail Prahari Recruitment : The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released the notification for the recruitment of 803 Jail Guard positions. The online application process has commenced today, December 24, 2024, and will conclude on January 22, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website — recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in.

The Jail Guard 2024 recruitment exam is set to be held on April 9, 10, and 12, 2025. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written exam followed by document verification and a physical fitness test.

RSMSSB Jail Prahari Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have cleared class 10 to apply for the exam.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 26 years of age as on January 1, 2025.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) at recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Jail Guard recruitment notification link.

Step 3: Register using your email ID and mobile number.

Step 4: Fill out the application form.

Step 5: Upload the required documents.

Step 6: Pay the application fees.

Step 7: Submit the application form.

RSMSSB Jail Prahari Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to General, EWS, MBC, OBC, and other categories are required to pay a fee of Rs 500. While SC, ST, and PwD category candidates need to pay Rs 400 for the recruitment exam.

RSMSSB Jail Prahari Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern

The two-hour written exam will feature Multiple-Choice Questions or MCQs. The test will feature a total of 100 questions each carrying one mark. Candidates will be asked questions on General Knowledge and General Studies, Reasoning and Intelligence, General Hindi, and General English. There is no negative marking in the exam. It will be held in English and Hindi medium.
