RRB Technician Recruitment : The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a notice informing that the online application process for Technician vacancies will reopen on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. As per the official notice, the registration process will close on October 16 this year. During this period, new candidates will be able to apply for the Technician vacancies, while existing applicants will be able to revise their preferences and make revisions to their application forms.

When applying for the RRB Technician recruitment the General category candidates will pay Rs 500, while the application fee is Rs 250 for SC, ST, Female, Transgender, and EWS candidates.

RRB has also shared important guidelines for both new and existing candidates before reopening the application session. Key things to keep in mind:

– Existing applicants will only be able to modify their educational qualifications, re-upload photos and signatures, and change their RRB and post selections.

– It is important to note that the existing candidates do not need to submit new applications.

– New candidates are those who previously filed their applications but did not pay the fee, as well as those who applied and paid the fee for the category 1 (Technician Grade 1 Signal) post, but did not apply for the Technician Grade 3 position.

– Candidates who applied for other RRB recruitment drives this year other than the Technician under CEN 02/2024, as well as those who did not apply for any RRB recruitment drive this year, are considered fresh candidates.

– New applicants can apply for Technician positions in categories 2 through 40 during the reopened application session.

– From October 17 to October 21, candidates will have the opportunity to edit their application forms for a fee of Rs 250 per alteration.

– New applicants may make changes to their forms under the guidelines specified in the job announcement. During the edit window, existing candidates will have restricted access to the following areas: photo, signature, zone and post preferences, and educational background.
