RRB JE Exam 2024: Over 7,900 Vacancies Notified, Computer-based Test From December 6

RRB JE Exam 2024 : The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the examination dates for the Junior Engineer (JE) and related positions. These exams will be held in a Computer-Based format as part of the Central Employment Notice (CEN-03/2024). According to the schedule, the RRB JE (Computer-Based Test 1) examination for 7,951 positions is set to take place from December 6 to December 13, 2024. This examination will assess candidates for various roles, providing an opportunity for them to demonstrate their skills and qualifications during this period.

It is important to note that the examination is being conducted to recruit candidates for several key positions, including Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendents (DMS), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistants (CMA), as well as Chemical Supervisors (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisors (Research). This recruitment process aims to fill these vital roles within the railway sector, ensuring that qualified professionals are appointed to enhance operational efficiency. Among these positions, there are 17 vacancies specifically designated for the roles of Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research under RRB Gorakhpur. The remaining 7,934 vacancies encompass positions for Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendents, and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistants. This distribution highlights the diverse range of opportunities available through this recruitment drive.

The official timetable for the RRB JE Exam 2024 was published on October 7, 2024, on the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in. A link to verify the exam city and date, along with the option to download the Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates, will be accessible 10 days before the exam date on the official websites of all RRBs for the respective Central Employment Notices (CENs).
