RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Scheduled For March 19 Cancelled Due To Technical Issue

RRB ALP : Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has cancelled the first and second shifts of Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment CBT-2 exam on March19. RRB has informed that the exam will be held on some other date which will be announced later. According to the information shared by RRB, the Assistant Loco Pilot CBT-2 exam could not be held on Wednesday due to a technical fault.

RRB issued a notice stating that due to technical problems, the examination scheduled on March 19 is being rescheduled at those centres where the examination could not be conducted. “Due to unforeseen technical issues, the exam scheduled on 19.03.2025 (Shift-1 & 2) are being rescheduled for centers where exam could not be conducted. The rescheduled date for examination will be notified shortly. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for further updates,” reads the official notice.

As per reports, candidates who appeared for the exam in the first shift sat on the system for a long time but the questions did not appear on the server. The RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment CBT-2 exam is to be conducted on March 19 and 20 at various examination centers across the country. The admit card for the exam has also been issued.

As per the marking scheme, for every incorrect answer, one-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. However, the CBAT does not have a negative marking.

RRB Loco Pilot Recruitment CBT-1 exam was held from November 25 to 29, 2024. Its results were released on January 26, 2025. After this, the second phase of the examination is being conducted in March.

Through this recruitment exam, the RRBs aims to fill up a total of 18,799 vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilots in the organisation across India. RRBs initially published 5,696 Assistant Loco Pilot openings, which were later expanded to 18,799 due to “additional demand received from Zonal Railways.”
