Krishna Kunal, the Administrative Secretary of the Education Department, had earlier announced that preparations are underway to implement new changes in both the examination format and its organisation. Innovations from the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), the Staff Selection Board, and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be incorporated into the REET examination, enhancing its structure and effectiveness.

Additionally, he confirmed that there will be no increase in the fees for the REET exam this time around, ensuring that the examination process remains transparent. Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 550 for one and Rs 750 for two papers.

Last year, the REET exam was conducted on July 23 and 24, 2022. The provisional answer key was released on August 19, 2022, and the objection window closed on August 25, 2022.
