PM Narendra Modi to participate in the programme marking ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ on December 26

Veer Baal Diwas: Prime minister Narendra Modi will participate in the programme marking ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ on December 26, 2023. The event will commence at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from 10:30 am.

On this event, Narendra Modi will wave a banner as a sign to start the walk past by youth in Delhi. The government is holding interactive events all over the country to honor the Sahibzades and educate everyone, especially young children, about their remarkable courage.

In schools and daycare centers across the nation, a digital exhibition that tells the story of the Sahibzades’ life and the sacrifices they made will be displayed.

In addition, a movie about “Veer Baal Diwas” will be shown all over the country. Online competitions like interactive quizzes will also be held through the MYBharat and MyGov portals.

In honor of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Gobind Singh’s sons, Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the Prime Minister announced on January 9, 2022, the day of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Prakash Purab, that December 26 will be observed as “Veer Bal Diwas.”

“Today, on the promising event of the Parkash Purab of Sri Master Gobind Singh Ji, I’m respected to share that beginning this year, 26th December will be set apart as ‘Go Baal Diwas.’ This is an appropriate tribute to the Sahibzades’ bravery and pursuit of justice. Go Baal Diwas will be around the same time Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji accomplished suffering in the wake of being fixed alive in a wall. On January 9, 2022, PM Modi tweeted, “These two greats preferred death rather than deviating from the noble principles of Dharma.”
