OSSC LTR Teacher Recruitment 2024: Applications Open October 30
OSSC : The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers in Government Secondary Schools for the year 2024, as outlined in Advt. No. 4231/OSSC. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can begin submitting their applications on October 30, 2024, via the official website ossc.gov.in. The application portal will remain open until November 29, 2024, allowing candidates a full month to apply for these teaching positions.
The online application submission will open on November 30 and close on December 2, 2024. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to modify their application forms until December 4, 2024.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 6,025 LTR Teacher vacancies in Government Secondary Schools under the School and Mass Education Department in Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

A total of 6,025 vacancies are available for various teaching positions, including TGT Arts, TGT Science (PCM & CBZ), and language teachers. Notably, 1,988 of these positions are reserved specifically for women.
The vacancies for the OSSC LTR Teacher Recruitment 2024 are divided among various teaching disciplines, which include:

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years old as of January 1, 2024. For details regarding any relaxation in the upper age limit, it is advisable to review the notification link.
Education Qualification: Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications-
A Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Commerce, or a Shastri (Sanskrit) degree from a recognized university, along with two school subjects from a recognized institution, achieving a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (or 45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC candidates).
A Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or a 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed degree from an institution recognized by the NCTE.
Alternatively, candidates may also qualify with a four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. degree from any NCTE-recognized institution, which includes two school subjects as defined in the accompanying proviso, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (or 45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates).
