OP Jindal Global University to participate in G-20 higher educators forum

It is an honor for OP Jindal Global University to announce that the Ministers of Education and Foreign Affairs will attend the upcoming Universities of the Future Summit of the G-20 Higher Educators Forum.

Building institutional resilience, social responsibility, and community impact in G20 nations are the focus of the virtual summit. The inaugural address will be delivered by the chief guest, Indian minister of state for external affairs V Muraleedharan. The valedictory Meeting will be given by Subhas Sarkar, priest of state for schooling, administration of India.

The five-day summit, which will begin on March 27, 2023, will include 100 universities, 160 university leaders, 30 or more thematic sessions, and 3 keynote addresses. It will also include 160 national and international participants from all G20 countries across six continents.

Sessions have been planned with the G20 countries’ current context and requirements for higher education in mind. As a feature of the 30 topical meetings there will be a few unique locations and conversations on significant subjects, some of which remember undeniable level conversations for points like: India’s desire to establish world-class educational institutions: A Rude awakening, India; No Private Space: Building World-Class Universities in India: A Keynote Address and Discussion Redefining Work-Life Balance in a Post-Pandemic World Each Position In turn, Building A-list Colleges.

Among the other sessions’ themes are “Being Global”: University as a Place for Meaningful Community Engagement and Local Innovation Overcoming Barriers to Success: Universities that encourage equality and support female leaders in the future; Democratic Governance and Academic Freedom: Against accountability, autonomy; Higher Education for the Whole: Among many other high-level discourses, the role of interdisciplinary studies in overcoming the challenges of the 21st century.

At the Summit, every G20 nation will be represented. The fact that 100 universities from the G-20 will be attending this year’s World Universities Summit, which is being held in conjunction with India’s presidency of the G20 grouping and will culminate in the Delhi G20 Summit of Leaders in September 2023, makes it unique.
