Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025: Notification Released For 933 Vacancies, Application Begins Tomorrow

Police SI Recruitment : The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has released the notification for the recruitment of 933 Sub Inspector and other vacancies. The registration process will begin tomorrow, January 20, and continue till February 10, 2025 (up to 10 PM). Those interested and eligible will be able to apply by visiting the official website at odishapolice.gov.in. Candidates must possess a valid e-mail ID and mobile before commencing the application process.

Sub-Inspector of Police: 609 vacancies

Sub-Inspector of Police (Armed): 253 vacancies

Station Officer (Fire Service): 47 vacancies

Assistant Jailor under Home Department, Government of Odisha: 24 vacancies

Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed ME school or higher examinations with Odia as a subject or passed HSC or equivalent examinations with Odia as a medium in non-language subjects or passed the written test in Odia in ME school standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha.

According to the official notification, Persons with Disability are not eligible to apply for the above posts. Women and transgender candidates are eligible to apply for SI Police and Assistant Jailor posts only.

Age Limit: The applicants must be between 21 to 25 years of age as of January 1, 2024. However, the upper age limit has been relaxed by five years for SC, ST, SEBC, and women candidates. For ex-servicemen candidates, the relaxation will be for the entire period of service rendered in defence service.

Step 1: Visit the official Odisha Police website: odishapolice.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the SI Recruitment 2025 link.

Step 3: A new webpage will appear. Click on the registration link.

Step 4: Fill in all the required details for online registration and get the registration ID and password.

Step 5: Log in by using your registration ID and password to complete the online application process.

Step 6: Submit and upload the relevant documents.

Step 7: Download the form and take a printout or screenshot of it for future reference.

For the selection of candidates, there will be a written test. Those who clear this round will have to appear for the physical standard test and physical efficiency test. Those who clear all the rounds will be shortlisted and upon grabbing the job offer they will get a salary of Rs 35,400 per month.
