Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025: Application Window Opens For 933 Vacancies

Police SI Recruitment : The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has commenced the application process for the recruitment of 933 Sub Inspector posts and other vacancies. Those who have cleared class 12 are eligible to apply for the recruitment drive. PwD candidates are not eligible to apply for the above posts. Women and transgender candidates are eligible to apply for SI Police and Assistant Jailor posts only.

Sub-Inspector of Police (Armed): 253 vacancies

Station Officer (Fire Service): 47 vacancies

Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: According to the official notice, candidates must have passed ME school or higher examinations with Odia as a subject or passed HSC or equivalent examinations with Odia as a medium in non-language subjects or passed the written test in Odia in ME school standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha.

Age Limit: The applicants must be between 21 to 25 years of age as of January 1, 2024. However, the upper age limit has been relaxed by five years for SC, ST, SEBC, and women candidates. For ex-servicemen candidates, the relaxation will be for the entire period of service rendered in defence service.
