Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Application Deadline For 1,360 Vacancies Extended Till October 30

Police Constable Recruitment : The Odisha Police has extended the application deadline for the Constable/Sepoy Recruitment 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for the 1,360 vacant positions through the official website, odishapolice.gov.in, until October 30. The previous deadline for submitting the application was October 13. This extension has been announced in an official notification from the State Selection Board (SSB) Odisha, citing the reason as the upcoming Puja vacations.

As per the board, the candidates will be allowed to make changes to their application forms after the registration ends. However, the dates for the same will be announced later.

ODISHA POLICE CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2024: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Age limit: The candidate must be between 18 to 23 years of age as of January 1, 2024. However, an age relaxation will be provided for the reserved category candidates.

Educational qualification: To apply for the Sepoy/Constable posts, the candidate must have cleared Class 10 exams or equivalent from a recognised institute with Odia as one of the subjects.

Applicants must be Indian nationals with good character, decent health, and no physical deformities or organic problems.

As per the guidelines of SSB Odisha, each candidate is allowed to apply under only one battalion. Note that women, transgender and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are not eligible to apply for the said posts.

Step 1: Head to the official website, odishapolice.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the Sepoy/Constable Recruitment 2024 link and click on it.

Step 3: Next up, click on Registration for Odisha Sepoy/Constable in OSAP/IR Bn in Odisha Police option.

Step 4: Register yourself and generate a user ID and password.

Step 5: After logging in, proceed with the application process and fill in the required details.

Step 6: Upload the necessary documents and click on submit.

Step 7: Download the registration form and take a hard copy for future reference.
