Odisha Class 10 Board Result 2025 Likely In Mid-May, Evaluation Near Completion

Odisha Class 10:The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha is expected to declare the High School Certificate (HSC) or class 10 examination results 2025 in the second week of May. BSE president Srikant Tarai on Tuesday said that the evaluation process for the class 10 board examination is nearing completion, reported PTI.

“The evaluation of the exam papers began on March 19. Though the process was halted briefly for three days, we are working diligently to ensure results are published by mid-May,” Tarai told the news agency.

He further assured that the board is prioritising the academic interests of the students, especially those seeking admission to higher education institutions.

Tarai announced the successful implementation of watermark and QR code technology in this year’s examination. “This step has significantly strengthened exam security and curbed the issue of question paper leaks,” he said.

Earlier, it found that a set of questions in the science paper had printing errors. “There is no cause for concern regarding the evaluation of Science answer papers. All decisions have been taken in line with the examination committee’s recommendations,” he added.

Almost 5.5 lakh students took the Madhyama board exams this year which were held from February 21 to March 6. The evaluation of answer sheets began soon after the exam concluded across multiple centres in the state under strict supervision.

To pass the examination, candidates must achieve a minimum of 30 per cent marks in all subjects. Candidates can access their Class 10 matric results on the official websites, bseodisha.ac.in, and orissaresults.nic.in, once declared.

Last year, the results were announced on May 26. A total of 96.07 per cent of the 5,41,061 students who took the exam passed. Girls secured a pass percentage of 96.73 per cent, thereby, outperforming boys who got a pass rate of 95.39 per cent.
