NVS 2024 Lateral Entry Admission For Class 9, 11 Ends Tomorrow
NVS 2024 : The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will conclude the registration process for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admissions 2025 tomorrow, November 26. The JNV Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) for classes 9 and 11 will take place on February 8, 2025. Candidates who are yet to register for the lateral entry admissions may complete the registration process by visiting the official website at navodaya.gov.in.
The NVS 2025 lateral entry application correction window will commence on November 27 and end on November 28, 2024. Candidates must note that gender, category, area, and disability are among the fields that can be altered in the registration form.
NVS 2024 Lateral Entry Admissions: Eligibility Criteria
Students taking the class 11 lateral entrance examinations must have completed their class 10 exams at an affiliated school or through a recognised board. Those seeking admission to class 9 must be a resident of the district where a JNV is situated and presently enrolled in class 8 at one of the government or government-recognized schools.
Furthermore, applicants must be at least 15 years old to be considered for admission to class 11. The maximum age is 17, which means they must have been born between June 1, 2007, and July 31, 2009. Candidates for NVS class 9 must have been born between May 1, 2009, and July 31, 2011.
NVS Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry Admission: Steps to Register
Step 1: Go to the NVS official website at navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the class 9/11 lateral entrance test link.
Step 3: Select the given registration link.
Step 4: Enter the relevant information and press the submit button.
Step 5: Complete the NVS Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry registration form 2025.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and click on the final registration submission link.
The NVS lateral entry test is usually held for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The test is scheduled to take place between 11 AM and 1:30 PM. Five sections including objective-style questions will be offered to the students during the exam. Between 10:45 and 11 AM, students will have an extra fifteen minutes to read the instructions and question papers. However, differently-abled students will be granted an additional 50 minutes.
