The National Law school of India university (NLSIU) Bengaluru has expanded the seat admission for 5-year BA LLB and one-year LLM programs in NLSIU Bengaluru. The number of BA and LLB seats at the university has increased from 180 to 240 under the NLSIU Inclusion and Expansion Plan.

In a similar vein, the total number of applicants for the LLM program has increased from 75 to 100.

The NLSIU Consideration and Development Plan declared in June 2021, expects to arrive at an extended size of more than 2,200 understudies in the college’s nearby projects by the scholastic year 2028-29.

Last year, the university increased the number of BA, LLM, and LLM seats under this plan from 50 to 75. Last year, it also launched a three-year LLB program for which applicants take the National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT).

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is used to select candidates for admission to the BA, LLB, and LLM programs. The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will hold an offline version of the CLAT 2023 national-level law entrance exam on December 18, 2022.

The annual tuition at NLSIU for both the BA, LLB, and LLM programs is approximately Rs. 3.27 Lakh for students of the general category and Rs. 3.23 Lakh for SC and ST students. During CLAT counseling, students are required to pay the course fee.
