NITK Surathkal hosts international conference on smart sustainable energy

NITK Surathkal: The National Institute of Technology (NIT-K) Surathkal’s Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering inaugurated a two-day international conference titled Advancements in Smart Sustainable Energy Sources Technologies and Systems (ASSETS) 2024. The inaugural ceremony was held today, March 11 at 9:30 am in the LHC-C, NITK Surathkal.

ASSETS 2024 serves as a platform for researchers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts in the energy sector to exchange ideas and explore the latest advancements in smart and sustainable energy sources, the institute said.

The main visitor for the debut function was K Gopakumar, filling in as the teacher at the branch of electronic frameworks designing, in the Indian Organization of Science (IISc) Bangalore.

During the debut service teacher of IISc Bangalore, stressed the significance of energy, independent learning, and commitment to outcome in the field. He urged members to make the most of the instructive open doors presented by India’s Advanced education Establishments (HEIs).

Talking about the occasion, the overseer of NIT-K, B Ravi, underlined the benefit of systems administration and liberality. He urged the participants to amalgamate the methods of reasoning of the western and eastern world to prepare for a savvy and feasible future. The head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department at NITK, D N Gaonkar, along with the organizing secretaries S Karthikeyan and Yashwant Kashyap, and other faculty members, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
