NIRF Rankings 2023: On Monday, June 5, the Ministry of Education unveiled the latest edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings for 2023. Once again, IIM Ahmedabad has emerged as the leading institution in the management category, securing the top spot. Similarly, IIM Bangalore has retained its second-place position.

IIM Ahmedabad has achieved a remarkable score of 83.20%, securing the top position in the NIRF Rankings. IIT Bangalore, on the other hand, obtained a score of 80.89%, placing it second in the rankings.

Notably, IIM Kozhikode has made significant progress, climbing two positions from its previous rank of 5 in 2022 to secure the 3rd position this year. With an overall score of 76.48%, IIM Kozhikode has showcased a commendable performance.

However, IIM Calcutta experienced a slight decline, moving down to the 4th position from its previous rank of 3. Meanwhile, IIM Lucknow has maintained its sixth position for the current year.

Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai has demonstrated considerable improvement, advancing from the 9th rank to the 7th rank in this year’s rankings. Conversely, IIT Madras, which held the 10th position in the management category last year, has dropped to the 15th position in the 2023 rankings.
