NIFT 2025: Registration Begins For Entrance Test

NIFT 2025 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun accepting applications for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Test 2025. Candidates interested in applying can do so at the official website at exams.nta.ac.in. The last date to register for the exam is January 6, 2025. Candidates can also apply between January 7 and 9 with a late fee of Rs 5000. The exam will be held on February 9. The application correction window will remain open from January 10 to 12.

NIFT 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: For B.Des and B.F.Tech courses, candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent from a recognised board or institution. Candidates pursuing M.Des and M.F.Tech courses, on the other hand, must have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in the relevant discipline. Candidates for M.F.M programmes must have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in any subject.

Age Limit: The maximum age restriction for Bachelor’s courses (B.Des and B.F.Tech) has been set as 23 years as of August 1, 2025. Candidates who fall under the SC, ST, or PWD categories may be eligible for a five-year relaxation of the maximum age restriction. There is no upper age restriction for applicants to the M.Des, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M programmes.

NIFT 2025: How to Apply?

Step 1: Navigate to the website at nift.ac.in and click on the NIFT 2025 Application form link.

Step 2: Enter your name, email address, and phone number in the NIFT registration form.

Step 3: Complete the application form with the necessary credentials and academic details.

Step 4: Choose your preferred exam location for the NIFT admission exam.

Step 5: Submit any required documents in the relevant size and format specified in the form.

Step 6: Submit the application form after completing it and paying the application fee.

Step 7: Save your NIFT 2025 application form and print a copy for future reference.

NIFT 2025: Application Fee

For Open, Open-EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates who are registering themselves for NIFT 2025, the application fee is Rs 3000. similarly, the application fee is Rs 1500 for SC, ST, and PWD applicants. For Open, Open-EWS, OBC (NCL) applicants to the B.Des and B.F.Tech courses, the application fee is Rs. 4500. Applicants for the B.Des and B.F.Tech courses who are SC, ST, or PwD must pay an application fee of Rs. 2,250.
