NEST 2023 registration starts today

Registration for the National Entrance Screening Test NEST 2023 will begin today, February 27. The online registration deadline for the NEST 2023 exam is May 17. Nestexam.in is the official website for NEST 2023. On June 24, 2023, multiple locations will host the NEST 2023 exam.

The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai, both require applicants to pass NEST. Through the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy, applicants admitted to the NISER or CEBS program will be eligible to receive a yearly scholarship of Rs 60,000 and a grant of Rs 20,000 for the summer internship.

Candidates must have taken or passed the Class 12 examination in 2021 or 2022 in order to meet the NEST 2023 eligibility requirements. Candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination with an overall score of at least 60% from a board that is recognized. However, candidates from Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Divyangjan will need at least 55% of the total marks.

2. Select the application link.
3. Fill in the information as required
4. Pay the application fee Submit the NEST 2023 application fee.

General and OBC candidates will need to pay Rs 1,200, while female applicants, candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Divyangjan candidates will need to pay Rs 600.
