NEST 2023 exam date announced; Registration to begin

For the National Entrance Screening Test or NEST 2023 The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) have released the schedule.

The official dates indicate that the NEST 2023 examination will take place on June 24, 2023.
On February 27, the application form for NEST 2023 will be available. The official nestexam.in website is where candidates can complete the application.

NEST 2023: To take the NEST exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

For the OBC and unreserved categories, candidates must have been born after August 1, 2003. Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Divyangjan are exempt from the age restriction by 5 years. Candidates must have passed the Class 12 qualifying exam in 2021 or 2022. Eligible candidates also include those running in 2023.

At least 60% of the total marks or an equivalent grade in Class 12 from an Indian board that is recognized. The minimum requirement is 55% for candidates from the Divyangjan, SC, and ST groups.
A spot on the NEST 2023 merit list should be obtained by candidates.

NEST 2023 will take place in approximately 120 Indian cities.
