NEET UG 2025: NTA Issues Important Advisory For Candidates

NEET UG 2025 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for candidates planning to apply for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2025. With the registration deadline set for March 7, 2025, the NTA urged candidates to complete their applications well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute complications.

“The registration process for NEET UG 2025 commenced on February 7, 2025, and will close on March 7, 2025, at 11:50 PM. Candidates are advised to complete the process at the earliest to avoid any last-minute difficulties. Candidates are requested to ensure timely submission of their application to avoid last minute rush,” NTA stated in official notice.

The NEET UG 2025 examination is scheduled for May 4, 2025. The test will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), with a total duration of 180 minutes (3 hours).

NEET UG 2025 Registration: Important Dates

• Online Submission of Application: February 7 to March 7, 2025 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Last date of successful transaction of fee: March 7, 2025 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Correction in Particulars: March 9 to March 11, 2025
• Announcement of City Intimation: By April 26, 2025
• NEET UG 2025 Admit Cards: By May 1, 2025
• NEET UG 2025 Exam Date: May 4, 2025
• NEET UG Result 2025: June 14, 2025 (Tentative)

NEET UG 2025: Application Fee

• Rs 1,700 for general candidates
• Rs 1,600 for general-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates
• Rs 1,000 for SC, ST, PwBD, and Third Gender candidates (for exams held within India)
• For candidates taking the exam outside India, the application fee is Rs 9,500.

How To Fill NEET UG 2025 Application Form?

Step 1: Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the “Registration for NEET(UG)-2025 is LIVE!” link on the homepage

Step 3: Enter your basic details such as name, contact information, and email ID to generate login credentials

Step 4: Log in with the credentials and provide your personal details, educational qualifications, and exam centre preferences

After the application window closes, candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their forms from March 9 to March 11. The exam city intimation slips will be released by April 26, and NEET 2025 admit cards will be available for download by May 1.
