NEET UG 2023 postponed in Manipur due to ‘law-and-order situation’
The medical entrance test, NEET UG 2023, has been postponed because of the violent clashes in Manipur and the state of law and order there. The exam-organizing body NTA will soon announce the new dates. This decision was made after Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, a Manipur-based BJP state education minister, called for a delay. I had mentioned them to defer the test, in the ongoing circumstance. New date of test will be fixed. According to Ranjan, 5751 candidates were scheduled to appear at the two Manipur centers.
A sum of 20,87,449 understudies have applied for the NEET UG 2023 which will be hung on May 7. Not at all like JEE Principal, NEET UG is held disconnected and once in a year. Because of the ongoing circumstance in Manipur, NEET UG 2023 won’t be held in the test fixates in Manipur on May 7. However, the NTA will later announce new dates for the affected candidates’ entrance exams.
