NEET UG 2022: stray vacancy round dates revised by MCC

The dates for the MCC NEET UG 2022 stray vacancy round have been changed by the Medical Counseling Committee. The reporting dates have been changed. The MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in, provides access to the official notice.

The official notice says that the last day to report for the stray vacancy round is now December 29, 2022, at 5 p.m. Previously, the report deadline was December 28. Additionally, the last day to apply for admission to the MBBS program for state and all-India counseling is December 29, 2022.

MCC received requests and representations from participating candidates stating that many interested students were unable to avail themselves of the opportunity to report at the institutes due to bank holidays during the stray counselling period.

In the meantime, MCC has released the schedule for the second mop up round of NEET UG counseling. The same thing’s registration process starts on December 30 and ends on January 1, 2023. Between December 30 and January 1, 2023, choice filling and choice locking will take place. The outcome of the seat allotment will be made public on January 3, and reporting can be completed between January 4 and January 8, 2023.
