NEET PG Counseling 2024: Round 3 Registration Deadline Extended Till January 15

NEET PG Counseling : The Medical Counselling Committee or MCC has revised the schedule of the third round of NEET PG Counselling 2024. The last date of registration for NEET PG Counselling 2024 has also been extended to January 15, 2025. MCC had stopped the NEET PG Counselling 2024 after the second round but now it is being resumed.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) had informed about the reduction in the NEET PG cut-off on January 4, 2025. To fill the seats of PG courses in medical colleges, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to reduce the cutoff by 15 per cent for the general category and 10 per cent for SC, ST, and PWD category candidates. Candidates who have not yet applied for counseling have a chance till January 15.

According to the revised schedule of MCC, the choice-filling process of NEET PG Round 3 will continue from January 12, 2025, to January 16, 2025. Candidates who are eligible for admission to PG Medical College based on the new cut-off percentile can register themselves till January 15, 2025. After this, they will not be given a second chance. As per the official notice, medical colleges will have to upload the number of PG seats on mcc.nic.in by January 24, 5 pm.
