NEET PG 2025 :The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has begun the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 today, April 17. The application window will remain open until May 7 at 11:55 PM.

According to the official notice, the entrance exam is scheduled to be held on June 15, and the results are expected to be declared on July 15. Despite continued criticism, NBEMS will conduct NEET PG 2025 in a computer-based format, to be held in two shifts across the country.

Each year, nearly two lakh MBBS graduates appear for the exam, competing for around 52,000 postgraduate medical seats across India.

NEET PG was conducted in two shifts for the first time last year, with the exam held on August 11. The first shift was conducted from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second took place from 3:30 PM to 7 PM.

Although the exam date for this year has been confirmed, several candidates have voiced concerns over the continued use of the two-shift format.

Many are urging a return to the traditional single-shift model, citing apprehensions about disparities in question paper difficulty and doubts over the fairness of the score normalisation process.
