NEET PG 2024: MCC Releases Round 3 Allotment List

NEET PG 2024 : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of candidates admitted through the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 up to round 3, following the Supreme Court’s dismissal of the petition to cancel the admissions. The NEET PG allotment list includes the roll number, candidate’s name, allotted institute, and the subject assigned to those who have joined by 11:30 am on February 7, 2025.

“All candidates who have reported to the allotted college and have taken admission should make sure that their name is present in the list. In case, names of any joined candidates are not included in the list, the candidates should immediately contact the allotted college,” reads the official notice.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Controversy

The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently revised the NEET PG seat matrix in response to the Supreme Court’s notice regarding a plea from aspirants seeking the cancellation of the MCC NEET PG round 3 counselling 2024. Students have raised concerns about seat blocking and irregularities in allotted seats due to delays in the Madhya Pradesh (MP) NEET PG counselling.

The MCC is expected to extend the round 3 reporting deadline until February 9, following the Karnataka High Court’s decision to cancel the state allotments for candidates already assigned AIQ seats. These candidates are now allowed to join the seats allotted through the MCC counselling, enabling petitioners to participate in the Karnataka NEET PG stray vacancy round while carrying forward the leftover seats.

The MCC had previously extended the deadline for reporting to the allotted colleges for round 3 candidates until February 4, following requests from several state quota aspirants.

NEET PG 2025 Cut-Off Reduction

Earlier, the MCC had reduced the cut-off percentile for NEET PG counselling 2024. According to the official notification, candidates belonging to the General Category/EWS category, who secured 15 percentile and above, were eligible to participate in the counselling. Candidates from the SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories were eligible to participate in counselling upon securing 10 percentile.
