NCERT Launches 'Sathee' Portal For Free JEE, NEET, And SSC Study Resources
‘Sathee’ Portal : The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has launched ‘Sathee Portal 2024’, a free self-assessment tool, to assist students in getting ready for competitive exams such as engineering (JEE), medical (NEET) and others. The website provides study resources in Hindi, English and other regional languages. To access the facility, all candidates are urged to visit and register at the NCERT Sathee Portal 2024 via the official website – sathee.prutor.ai.
The ‘Sathee’ portal, an entirely online platform, will be used for preparing for competitive exams, where students can get free learning materials, video lectures, mock exams and expert coaching. It offers a wide range of services to children from various backgrounds and helps to give free education to students.
As per the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) rule, the government’s broader initiative is to ensure that everyone has fair access to education, including the free coaching program. By making readily available, cost-free study materials available via the ‘Sathee’ portal, the government hopes to close the achievement gap and advance equitable educational opportunities for kids throughout the nation. According to media sources, more than 4.37 lakh kids have reportedly enlisted to take advantage of this programme.
Students can choose to prepare for engineering, medicine, or SSC after registering on the NCERT ‘Sathee’ portal. After that, they will get access to live classes, tutoring, books based on NCERT curricula and video solutions. In addition to being accessible online via the portal, the training is also aired on television via DTH channels, making it even more feasible to locations with limited internet connection. A chatbot is included in the software to answer questions from students and make materials easily accessible. Every day from 10 AM to 6 PM, except Sundays and government holidays, the ‘Sathee’ portal is open for students.
