Mumbai University Reschedules March-April Summer Exams Due To MHT CET 2025

Mumbai University : The University of Mumbai (MU) has rescheduled its Summer 2025 exams, adjusting the dates to avoid a clash with the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET) 2025. This change affects students across the science and technology, commerce and management, and arts streams. Originally set to take place from March 23 to April 1, the Science and Technology exams will now begin on April 4.

Key courses such as TYBSc Data Science, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Information Technology will kick off with this revised date. The Commerce and Management exams, initially planned for March 24 to April 3, have now been moved to April 5 to April 16, while the Arts exams—originally scheduled to start on March 26—have been rescheduled to run from April 5 to April 23.

“A reference is invited to Programme Exam code 1802816, 1800146, 1800136, 1800156, 1800196, 1800166, 1800256 relating to the Science & Technology examination which was scheduled from March 26 and April 1 the head, university of various Department and Directors, principals of the affiliated institute, colleges in science are hereby informed that the said examination is rescheduled due to State Common Entrance Test in Maharashtra State and will be held as per revised timetable,” MU stated in official notice.
