Mumbai University Postpones PET 2024, LLM CET Due To Technical Issues; Exams On Nov 24
Mumbai University : Mumbai University has postponed the PhD Entrance Test (PET) 2024 and LLM-CET 2024 exams for candidates who were scheduled to appear at the Surekha Infotech exam centre in Dombivli on November 17, 2024. The exams have been rescheduled due to a technical issue at the examination centre. For candidates allocated to the Surekha Infotech centre, the PET 2024 and LLM-CET 2024 exams will now be held on November 24.
Candidates who are scheduled to appear for the examination will soon be able to download their fresh admit cards for the MPET 2024 and LLM CET 2024 exams from the official website of Mumbai University at- mu.ac.in.
“The PET 2024 exam and LLM-CET 2024 exam at the exam centre Surekha Infotech, Dombivli, which were scheduled on 17th November, 2024 are postponed due to technical reasons. The above said exams are re-scheduled on Sunday 24h November, 2024. The only candidates who were allotted the above-mentioned exam centre will receive their revised hall tickets notifying the exam centre and other details shortly,’’ stated Mumbai Univesity in official notification.
Reportedly, the decision to postpone the Mumbai University PET 2024 exams comes in the wake of widespread chaos and allegations of mismanagement. The exams, which were scheduled to begin at 10:30 am on November 17 at centres such as Thakur College in Kandivli and Surekha Infotech in Dombivli, reportedly failed to commence even by their designated end time.
