MBSE HSLC Result 2025 Declared: 76.68% Students Pass, PC Lalthakimi Tops With 479 Marks
MBSE :The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has announced the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2025 results. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 76.68%, a notable rise from last year’s 73.37%. The exams were conducted during February and March.
Out of 18,946 students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams, 14,527 successfully passed. As per MBSE Secretary Sarah Lalengzami Pachuau, 107 schools across the state recorded a perfect 100% pass percentage, whereas 13 schools unfortunately registered a zero pass rate.
PC Lalthakimi, daughter of Datthuama from KD High School, Aizawl, topped the state with an impressive 479 out of 500 marks. She scored distinction in all six subjects — English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Mizo.
The second rank was jointly secured by Isak MS Dawnglima (Government Mizo High School) and Malsawmkima Chawngthu (CLS Academy), each earning distinction in five subjects. Ricky Lalnunfela from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School clinched the third position.
Among individual subject toppers, Lalrohlupuii scored a perfect 100 in Mathematics, while C Lalvenzuala achieved a full score of 100 in Science.
Out of the total pass count, 1,343 students secured distinctions, and 3,763 obtained first division. Notably, more female candidates passed the exam compared to males.
