MBOSE SSLC, HSSLC Exam 2025 Schedule Revised Due To Polls

MBOSE SSLC : The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has released the revised schedule for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations. The MBOSE SSLC, HSSLC Board Exams 2025 have been rescheduled for a few subjects because of the upcoming elections in the state.

The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) elections are scheduled to be held on February 21 and the counting of votes will be held on February 24.

According to the official notification, the examinations scheduled on the above dates have been rescheduled. “In view of the State Government’s announcement to hold the elections to Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District (JHADC), on 21/2/2025 and counting on 24/2/2025, the SSLC and the HSSLC Examination, 2025 fallling on these dates have been re-scheduled,” reads the official notification.

The Meghalaya SSLC (Class 10) Board exams were initially set to take place from February 10 to February 21, 2025. However, the exam originally scheduled for February 21 has been postponed to February 25, 2025. Meanwhile, the HSSLC (Class 12) exams will be held from February 18 to March 17, 2025. Additionally, the HSSLC exams scheduled for February 21 and 24 have also been rescheduled.
