Manav Rachna Convocation 2022: Over 1,500 academic degrees, 10 Honoris Causa conferred

Together with Manav Rachna Dental College (MRDC) and Manav Rachna University (MRU), the Manav Rachna Convocation 2022 ceremony was held for Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS). Raghunath Anant Mashelkar, an Indian chemical engineer and former director general of the CSIR, and Yogesh Singh, vice-chancellor of the University of Delhi, served as the 18th convocation’s chief guests.

The students received a total of 1,640 academic degrees, including 91 PhDs, 293 PG degrees, and 1,256 UG degrees. The Chief Patron Medal, the President Medal, and the Vice President Medal, among others, were awarded to students for outstanding accomplishments. In addition, Raghunath Anant Mashelkar, an Indian chemical engineer and former CSIR Director General, was honored by the institute; Yogesh Singh, University of Delhi vice president; Maruti Suzuki’s Chief Mentor, Saqulain Yasin Siddiqui; Director of Allen Career Institute Kota, Naveen Maheshwari; Rajkamal Vempati, EVP and Head HR, Pivot Bank; Gagan Narang (Olympian and VP IOA); Barun Dass, TV9 Network’s youngest MD and CEO; Suresh Dutt Tripathy, Boss Asset Official, Air India; Shivalik Prints Ltd.’s Chairman and Managing Director, Narendra Agarwal; furthermore, Manish Mehrotra, Corporate Culinary expert, Indian Inflection with Honoris Causa degrees. According to Raghunath Anant Mashelkar, I witnessed an unusually high level of admiration and celebration at Manav Rachna, where ten Honoris Causa were presented to individuals from a variety of fields.
