MAH CET 2025: Marking Scheme Revised For LLB Courses

MAH CET 2025 :  The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has updated the marking scheme for the Maharashtra LLB CET 2025 for both the three-year and five-year programmes for the academic session 2025-26. Under the revised scheme, the exam will be conducted for a total of 120 marks, reduced from the previous 150 marks.

“The Government has amended the marking scheme to conduct State Common Entrance Examination for LLB 3 years and LLB 5 year courses from the academic year 2025-26. Therefore, the CET examination for the courses LLB 3 years and LLB 5 years will be conducted for 120 marks instead of 150 marks. The syllabus, weightage of components and duration of the examination will be the same as before (120 minutes),” the official notice reads.

The Maharashtra LLB CET 2025 will consist of objective multiple-choice questions with four options, and there will be no negative marking. The exam will be conducted online, with a total duration of two hours (120 minutes). The questions will be available in both English and Marathi.

Meanwhile, the CET Cell has extended the deadline for the application process for the MAH-LLB 3-year course to February 13, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination on the official website- cetcell.mahacet.org. The Cell has also extended the deadline for the application process for MEd, BEd and MPEd courses.
