KLEE LLB 2024 Web Option Registration Begins
KLEE LLB 2024 : The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala (CEE Kerala) has officially opened the web option registration window for the vacant seats in the Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) 2024, specifically for the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programs. Candidates who are interested in securing these vacant seats can visit the official website – cee.kerala.gov.in, to complete their registration for the KLEE 2024 for both the 3-year and 5-year LLB courses.
The Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) is a competitive exam conducted for admission to the four government law colleges in Kerala, located in Ernakulam, Calicut, Thrissur, and Thiruvananthapuram.
According to the timetable released, the web option registration began on November 7 and will close on November 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM. Candidates will have the opportunity to choose their preferred colleges and courses from the available vacant seats.
Candidates who participated in the previous counselling rounds and are eligible for admission can now register for the vacant seats. Once the registration is completed, the authorities will review the selected options and allocate seats based on merit and the availability of seats.
Candidates wishing to take part in the option registration process are required to pay a fee of Rs 1,000. However, candidates from the SC/ST/OEC categories, as well as those from Juvenile Homes, Nirbhaya Homes, and Sreechithra Homes, will be eligible for a concession and will only need to pay a reduced fee of Rs 500.
Candidates who are already admitted and receive a new allotment will have their previous admission cancelled and will be required to accept the new allotment. Those who were previously admitted to the 3-year LLB course through earlier allotment phases by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) have the option to withdraw from the course without facing any penalties. This penalty-free exit option is available until 1:00 PM on November 11, 2024. However, candidates who vacate their seats or request a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) after the specified deadline will be subject to a penalty. Fees will also not be reimbursed to those who fail to report to the assigned college or choose to withdraw from the course after admission has been confirmed.
If any seats remain unfilled, a stray vacancy allotment will be carried out, and the preferences registered during this phase will be taken into account for seat allocation. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline and thoroughly review all the instructions provided to ensure a smooth and successful process.
