KCET 2024: BArch eligibility criteria relaxed; registration begins through NATA scores
KCET 2024 : The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has commenced the registration for architecture courses based on NATA 2024 scores. In a relief to aspirants, the Council of Architecture has relaxed Class 12 eligibility criteria for architecture admissions from the academic session 2024-25 as per which students with 45% marks in second PUC exam or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Students who meet the revised eligibility requirements for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2024 can submit an online application for admissions through KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The last day to enroll is July 13 up to 11 am. Until 2 p.m., applicants may pay the registration fee.
According to KEA, candidates who passed the exam but did not submit a scorecard can do so by July 15 by submitting a copy of their NATA 2024 scorecard in addition to their KCET 2024 admission ticket, registration form, and Class 12 or second PUC marks card.
The exam’s administrator stated, “In view of the relaxed eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed the 2nd PU / 12th Standard examination WITH 45% as per the relaxed eligibility criteria (40% for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward Classes, and person with disability of mental retardation or mental illness (including Dyslexia)) will be considered for assignment of ranks for Architecture course.”
In addition, KEA stated that applicants would not be granted a further extension of time in this regard and urged them to submit their NATA score cards before the deadline.
