JoSAA Counseling 2023: Registration for IIT and NIT Admission

JoSAA Counseling 2023: Starting on June 19, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is set to commence its online counseling process for admissions into prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other centrally-funded technical institutions.

Commencing on June 19, candidates will have the opportunity to register and fill in their choices for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) online counseling. Those who have taken the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be able to fill in their AAT-specific choices starting from June 24, after the AAT result is declared.

On June 25, the first mock allocation list will be published, based on the choices filled by candidates until 8 pm on June 24.

Following that, on June 27, the second mock allocation list will be displayed, considering the candidates’ entries completed by June 26, 7 pm.

Candidates can register and fill in their choices until 7 pm on June 28. The results of Round 1 seat allocation will be announced at 10 am on June 30.

The JoSAA counseling for 2023 will consist of a total of six rounds, followed by CSAB rounds. It’s important to note that the CSAB rounds are exclusively for seats under the NIT+ system and do not apply to the IITs.
