JNVST 2025 Class 6 Entrance Exam Admit Card Released

JNVST 2025 : The admit card for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 entrance exam (summer bound) has been released on the official website at navodaya.gov.in. The selection test for admission to JNV Class 6 will be held in two phases – the first exam on January 18, 2025, and the second on April 12, 2025.

The first phase will be held at 11:30 am in Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II, and Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Dibang Valley, and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh. It will also be held in Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul, Spiti, Shimla of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling district of West Bengal, and Leh and Kargil.

JNVST Class 6 Exam Admit Card: How To Download?

Step 1- Go to the official website of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, navodaya.gov.in.

Step 2- Click on JNVST Class 6 Admit Card 2025 Registration link on the home page of the website.

Step 3- Now enter the log in details and click on submit.

Step 4- Then log in to the account.

Step 5- The hall ticket will appear on the screen.

Step 6- Download and take a print out of the admit card for future reference.

JNVST is held in pen and paper mode in a single shift from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. It comprises three sections – mental ability, arithmetic, and language. A total of 80 objective-type questions are asked in the exam for 100 marks. Of the total, 40 are from mental ability, while the rest sections consist of 20 questions each. The weightage of marks will be 50, 25, and 25 percent respectively.

Currently, there are 653 Navodaya Vidyalayas in 27 states and 8 union territories. A maximum of 80 students will be admitted in class 6 in each Navodaya Vidyalaya. All of them will be selected through the entrance examination. The result of the selection test is expected to be announced by March 2025 for summer-bound JNVs and in May 2025 for winter-bound JNVs.

“A maximum of eighty students are admitted in Class VI in each Vidyalaya through a Selection Test subject to availability of suitable candidates. The Samiti reserves the right to reduce the seats to forty or to withhold result and/or withhold admission and/or conduct of JNVST in case adequate accommodation is not available or any other administrative exigency,” states the official notice.
