JKCET 2025 Answer Key Released
JKCET 2025 : The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Exam (JKBOPEE) has issued the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2025 answer key for the engineering exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download the JKCET 2025 answer key by visiting the official website at jkbopee.gov.in. It is available in a PDF format. The exam was held on April 12.
Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their estimated scores. To do so, they must know the marking scheme, according to which, one mark will be awarded for every correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong attempt.
Step 1: Log on to the JKCET 2025 official application portal — jkbopee.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the JK CET engineering answer key link on the homepage
Step 3: The answer key will appear on the screen as a PDF
Step 4: Download the answer key and take a print out for future use or reference.
The exam was held in the pen and paper based mode for a duration of three hours. It featured Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of 180 marks. The entrance exam was held at centres as specified by the board in Jammu & Kashmir only.
The JKCET exam is only for permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Furthermore, candidates must have successfully completed their class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board or university. A minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects is mandatory. However, candidates from the Open Merit Category, including children of defense personnel, paramilitary forces, and J&K Police personnel, along with those with exceptional sports achievements and those belonging to SC and ST or other socially disadvantaged categories, are eligible for a 5 per cent relaxation in the minimum marks requirement.
