JK Lakshmipat University organises 8-day Jaipur Design Week 2024

JK Lakshmipat University: JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU Jaipur) hosted the eight-day Jaipur Design Week 2024. The design festival was attended by 24 speakers and 550 people, including designers, students, professionals and educators. On the occasion, JKLU awarded ‘Emerging Designer of the Year Award’ to Danisha Mehta, a design instructor at ONELAB College, London UK.

The Jaipur Design Week 2024 started with conversations and creative connections, including a session by Vijay Kumar from Illinois Tech’s Institute of Design in Chicago. He said, “There is a method and mindset for innovation in technology, business and design.”

The members likewise went to a ‘banana visit’ with draftsman Sonali Rastogi from morphogenesis, zeroing in on driving plan and development. A biopic on planner Anne Fontaine ‘Coco Before Chanel’ was screened to feature the force of narrating in plan.

There were a total of 15 activities, including competitions, storytelling sessions, workshops on design thinking, forum discussions, signature talk series, and experiential workshops.

The Open Studios, a four-day studio on Cooperative Discernments, directed by Jinal and Joseph, pioneers behind OJI Story, gave important bits of knowledge into the craft of improving and working together across different divisions.

JKLU organization of plan chief A Balasubramaniam said, “Jaipur Plan Week 2024 was a reverberating achievement, uniting a different exhibit of innovative personalities and developing an energetic plan environment. We are excited to have worked with keen conversations, and involved opportunities for growth, and commended the accomplishments of remarkable architects.”

The celebration likewise highlighted a provocative chat on spatial AR/VR plan by Punit Chawla, a prestigious UI/UX teacher and business visionary, featuring the capability of arising advances in plan.
