JEE Main 2025: Registration Begins For Session 2 Exam, Apply By February 25

JEE Main 2025 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025 session 2 on February 1. The registration process will continue till February 25 at 9 PM. The payment of application fees can be made till 11:50 PM. Candidates who are eligible and interested in applying can do so on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The second session of JEE Main will be held between April 1 to 8, 2025.

As per the official notice, candidates who have applied for the session 1 exam and wish to appear for the second session as well will be required to log in using their old application number and password. They will have to fill out the application form fresh and pay the application fees for session 2.

JEE Main 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have secured at least 75 per cent marks in the Class 12 examination or are in the top 20 percentile in the examination conducted by respective boards to be eligible to apply for the exam. In the case of SC, and ST candidates, they must have scored 65 per cent in class 12.

JEE Main 2025: Documents Required To Apply

— Scanned image of the signature of the candidate.

— Scanned image of passport-size photo.

— Category certificate (if applicable).

— Person with Disabilities (PWD) certificate (if applicable).

— Identity proof like an Aadhaar card, bank passbook photo, or ration card.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2: How To Apply?

Step 1: Go to the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the registration link for JEE Main 2025 session 2 from the homepage.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form and click the Submit button.

Step 4: Pay the application fees.

Step 5: Download the registration form and take a print out for further use.

There will be two papers in JEE Main 2025: paper 1 and paper 2. While paper 1 is held for entrance to BE and BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions or universities, paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.
