JEE Main 2024 session 1 registration ends tomorrow

JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registrations window for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1 tomorrow. Candidates can register for the JEE Main 2024 session 1 through the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will be held between January 24 and February 1, 2024 while the session 2 will be conducted between April 1 and 15, 2024.

According to the NTA, applicants can apply for either or both exam sessions. Male applicants for session 1 who fall into the unreserved, EWS, or OBC categories must pay a fee of Rs 1,000 for centers in India and Rs 5,000 for centers outside the country. For centers in India, female candidates in these categories will be required to pay a fee of Rs 800, while for centers outside the country, the fee will be Rs 4,000.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates who want to take the JEE Mains exam must have passed Class 12 with 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Be that as it may, competitors having a place with SC/ST classifications should have at least 65% in Class 12. For admission into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, the JEE Main exam is taken. There are no age limitations for JEE Fundamental in 2024.

The JEE Main 2024 exam will have three papers – Paper 1 for BTech programs, Paper 2A for Bachelor of Architecture, and Paper 2B for Bachelor of Planning.
