Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya: The application process for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) for the 2025-26 academic year has begun. This opportunity allows students to apply for entry into Class 6 at these prestigious schools, which offer free education from Class 6 through 12, including accommodation, food, uniforms, and books.
Each district has a Navodaya Vidyalaya, and while the entrance examination for Class 6 and Class 9 is conducted annually, seats are limited. For Class 6, there are 80 seats available per school, with the majority allocated to students from rural areas and a few reserved for those from urban areas.
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025 will determine admissions for Class 6. Interested candidates must submit their applications by September 16.
Jalore Additional District Collector Shivcharan Meena provided details on the application process and encourages eligible students to apply before the deadline.
