IP University: Due to flood-like situations in the national capital, the end-term examinations scheduled for July 14, 15, and 16 have been postponed by IP University.

The IP University has issued a notification stating that the end-term examinations scheduled for July 14, 15, and 16, 2023 have been postponed due to safety measures related to the flood-like situation in certain parts of Delhi. The university further mentioned that the revised schedule for the examinations will be announced in due course.

Despite the postponement, the university clarified that the remaining examinations for various programs will proceed as per the originally notified dates and times.

The rising water levels of the Yamuna River in Delhi have caused significant concerns. The water even reached the entrance of the Supreme Court and was reported to be nearing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Although the water levels had initially broken a 45-year record, they slightly receded to 208.35 meters by 11 am on Friday. However, several areas in Delhi remain submerged and affected by the flooding.

During this period, commuters encountered difficulties due to waterlogging on ITO road, a crucial route connecting east Delhi to Lutyens’ Delhi. The situation prompted authorities to divert traffic to alleviate the inconvenience caused by the flooding.
