Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2025 Begins For 270 Posts
Indian Navy : The Indian Navy is currently inviting applications for Short Service Commission Officers (SSC) for the January 2026 course. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online via the official Indian Navy website at joinindianavy.gov.in. The last date to apply is February 25. This recruitment drive aims to fill 270 vacancies within the organisation.
Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualifications: Candidates, who are interested in applying for the vacancy must have done BE or B.Tech in the relevant branch with at least 60 per cent marks. For the General Service, Pilot, Naval Operations Officer, and Air Traffic Controller branch/cadre, one must be a graduate in any branch of engineering. To apply for logistics, candidates should have an MBA. While for the education branch, the candidate should have done an M.Tech or Msc.
Age Limit: Candidate must be born between January 2001 and July 2006.
Step 1: Go to the Navy website, joinindiannavy.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the given online application link.
Step 3: Fill out the application form.
Step 4: Upload all the required documents as asked.
Step 5: Pay the application fee.
Step 6: Click on submit and print the application form.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in a qualifying degree. After that, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the SSB interview. Then, the final selection will be done on the basis of a merit list based on performance in the SSB interview. “Merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks for all entries as per availability of vacancies and medical clearance for respective entry. Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the entry,” reads the official notice.
