Income Tax Department 2025 Recruitment: No Written Test, Salary Up To Rs 1,42,400 Per Month

Income Tax Department : The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has announced vacancies for the position of Processing Assistant Grade B in the Income Tax Department. Candidates who meet the required qualifications for these positions can apply through the official website of the Income Tax Department.

Candidates interested in applying for this recruitment must submit their applications within 30 days from the release of the notification. A total of 8 posts will be filled through this recruitment.

Eligibility And Age

Candidates looking to apply for this recruitment must have the following qualifications:

(A) Master’s degree in Computer Application / Computer Science or Master of Technology (M. Tech.) (with specialisation in Computer Application); or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognised university or equivalent;

(B) (i) Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent;

(ii) Two years’ experience in electronic data processing, including experience in actual computer programming;

(C) (i) Master’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent, or Degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent;

(ii) Three years’ experience in electronic data processing, including experience in actual computer programming;

(D) (i) ‘A’ Level Diploma under the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) Programme or ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Computer;

(ii) Three years’ experience in electronic data processing, including experience in actual computer programming.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, as per the guidelines mentioned in the notification.

Salary

Candidates selected for these posts will receive a salary ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 under Level 7.
