IIT Madras: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras signed an agreement with the Hyundai Motor India Limited and Tamil Nadu’s investment promotion agency Guidance Tamil Nadu, for setting up a ‘Hydrogen Valley Innovation Hub’. This initiative aims to promote a green hydrogen ecosystem in the country.
IIT Madras is the nodal organization for laying out the center and has exceptional spotlight on confinement of assembling, expertise improvement, making of approval stages, guide and scene examination for the hydrogen environment. It will assume a sense of ownership with making the center at its grounds including land, building framework, and Research and development foundation. The organization will likewise foster an educational program and group of information for expertise improvement.
In addition, IIT Madras will establish a Centre of Excellence that will function as a think tank and publish research papers in addition to holding annual conferences and workshops.
Through policy advocacy on hydrogen-related technologies and the development of regulations, guidance Tamil Nadu will support the initiative.
