IIT Madras has launched an online Master in Technology( MTech) course for working professionals. This programme is the same as the popular MBA courses that enable people in the operation field to work and pursue education at the same time. With over 600 working professionals formerly enrolled for the three-time course rather than the standard two-time one, the acclimatized online programme for good masterminds from technology businesses has formerly acquired appeal.
scholars can complete assignments from their own workplaces and take classes online. The Centre for Continuing Education at IIT Madras is the first IIT to give a distance-learning MTech course.
IIT Madras informed that the teachers for these scholars will include members of their own faculty, speakers from other top universities, and prominent members of the business sector. Along with their evening classes, scholars will engage in live conversations with their professors. Examinations can be given by scholars in the same megacity where they work.
Prof Devendra Jalihal, president of the centre at IIT Madras, told The Indian Express,” The scholars of this programme have the same rights and boons as regular scholars. Working professionals can carry out design work at their workplaces. They don’t need any occupancy as compared to sponsored campaigners.”
From only 14 campaigners in 2020, the number has shot up to 605 this time. The students will be guided by a tutor from their pool. IIT Madras faculty members and the tutor will assess the student’s development together. The professors at IIT Madras would have to endorse the problem description and estimate the results. campaigners are advised to keep a track of the sanctioned website for the latest updates.
